sweaty day

its the first day of the lunar new year. As usual, our yearly routine is to visit the temples at Sim Ming to offer incense and pray for overall wellness of the family. In the confines of the template with plenty of incense smoke to go around, my eyes began watering real fast... try to keep it open and not tear is a near impossible task.. Kneeling and praying with smoking incense all around me (not to mention that bunch in my hands), i prayed for my family's health etc, with tearing rolling down my eyes..with every blink, a new drop rolled down my cheek. after wiping all the tears and dust around my face later on, I realise I had also wiped away most of my makeup... and in the heat of the day, my hair has go flat..urgh... so much for looking fab for the new year huh?

ok, with the questions with hongbao story.. the regular "when u are getting married question" has evolved slightly. Today I got a few variations .... "May you.... " and "Hope next year you will be giving hongbao to my children instead" ..... for the aunties whom I am more comfortable with , when they say "We are wondering when you getting married?", I normally reply "Dunno leh, no one wants me, so how?"

Plus my cold has not recovered and i have the occasional tickle and cough.. so I am feeling anti-social.. juz want to coop in my room.. ;p
