aha..... with the impending rumours of layoffs (yea, my office also!!), one needs to be more prudent in spending.. but how does a healthy lady with constant urge to shop cope then???
apart from slitting wrists whenever walking pass shops selling bags/shoes and cannot buy, why not juz focus on sale items? you can still buy if you are juz dying to spend that $ (but yet need to watch the wallet)
A few recommendations
1) visit http://www.greatdeals.com.sg/. check out wats on sale around Singapore!
2) visit the buidling opp IKEA at Queenstown, think its call AnchorPoint or something like tat. It houses the sale outlets for popular brands like Charles & Keith, Pedro, G2000, Giodano, Billabong and Club Marc. Good deals as G2000 tops can be slash from $49 to a mere $13 bucks! C&K shoes are going from $11.90 onwards..and they are not tat out of date loh..
3) hunt down factory outlets for Espirit (used to have one around Bendemeer).. I heard there's one at Yishun... pls let me know
4) stop buying at boutique for Coach and Kate Spade items. Join locally organised spree only when US boutique are having sale. You can obtain sales discount up to a couple hundred dollars... or juz buy korean inspired bags for 10% of the price.. lol
And you will still end up looking like a well dress lady. but U and I know, it only cost a fraction of its original price ^^ Not to mention, a great satisfaction of shopping theraphy and savings combined into ONE.
