body parts

u know when ur body parts needs replacement when aches starts turning up so much a moment's notice.

for me, i think i need a pair of new knees. apparently, my knees has decided to complain since last week (must be the new sexy hi-heels at work and especially the intensive floor scrubbing last nite)... giving me stabs of pain sometimes when i stand on them wrong... mostly the right one, but the left one decided to give me a good stab today too... walking ard in town in knee guards is very un-glamourous.. especially old cheap guards where the threads are coming out. By the way, my lower backs hurts like hell too.. can i also wear a back brace outside?!

i was at world of sports browsing at some socks when the lady asked me "wat's wrong w your knees?" .. i am like "erm, maybe too much housework?" . .. my mind was thinking of the floor scrubbing and furniture shifting last nite, i did not blame the heels .. hehe.. she was scrutinising at my shoes/feet then asked me if i got "flat feet".. i was like "huh, flat feet?" .. i suspect i am a flat footer la.. but dun wan to admit.. she went "like me la, the feet very close to the floor, meaning the arch is not there"... i was like "yea, a bit like that, not much arch".. well, meaning the feet's weight will tend to shift inwards, causing imbalance to weight distribution and tada, result in weak knees.. sounds just about right. Cos i tried to rest my feet's weight all on the floor and try to stand as if i got higher arch (anyone lost me here?). i felt that the former seems more "un-even"....

SO! i went and buy an arch support , hope it works! and also since my mum seems to be forgotten where she put my other expensive/comfy knee guard, i went to re-plenish the supply.
FUTURO Comfort Lift Knee Support is having a promotion at Guardian, where if u produce a used guard, u get this product at half price. So, i took off my left knee guard and pass to the cashier ..... hehe... feels weird man to remove the guard there, juz like tat.
Unfortunately, the guard was not as comfy as the one mum "misplaced", but it will have to do until i locate the missing piece.

Anyway, i would like to say sorry to oceanskies and jane (who flew in from Thailand) that I was not in the best condition and could not join for the dinner...my bad... blame the knees
:(
