finally found some time to blog a little.
started on the new job for 1.5weeks. The culture is very different where I used to work. i guess each government agency works differently. Although punctuality is something that each organisation wants the staff to observe, i had not expected to be "punching" my time-in every morning. ahem, and its by thumb print too~ it reminds me of my days in a Japanese import-export firm where all officers are expected to punch card every morning and people will play cheat by calling their colleague to punch their card for them if they are going to be late. Well, too bad, with the thumb system, i would say, maybe chop off my finger? well, does not matter to me. I have no issue turning up to work on time. Anyways, I am waking up earlier for simple stretches (hm, weight loss plan not going v well :P) and am able to be at office 5mins before 8.30, so i am ok la.. so wat if people are late. the most they have to explain why they are late... well..
the dress code is also a bit more formal here and hence, yours truly have to buy new clothes. more shirts and pants please... oh yea, also the offie area where the IT department is located.. so quiet.. my colleagues hardly talk, they are so busy... but they are nice..
well, got to observe a bit more... adios
