* first nite landed, went to Oasis Kuta, was told no room was booked under my name.. fantastic.. but lucky i got confirmation voucher.. so they transfer us to Oasis at Nusa Dua.. 30min drive from Kuta.. where we stay for the night.. next day, wasted the morning cos got to wait for transport back to Kuta.. :(

* 2nd day.. when in kuta during afternoon, we spent the time exploring a bit and plan wat to do the next day..almost got conned by people probably in time-share scam. lots of them around. lunch at asian cusine.. wow.. expensive... but nice..we hired a car with driver from ban-ban who runs a small tour service from outside our hotel for next day. dinner at bebek cafe... nice and cheap.. yum yum

* 3rd day, went to visit volcano.. forgotten the name... kintamani? see it from far..... beautiful place!! very cold at the top. not so nice food at the hilltop resturant. its a long drive.. many hours and we stopped to see barong dance, silver shop and woodcarving..on way back, we stopped by an old temple.. also i forgotten the name.. hehe. we were both in bermudas and got to wrap a sarong to be polite to the gods... such a beautiful place!! we also dropped by monkey forest and somehow got talked into buying something from my "guide" store .. seeing that she was nice to us.. i bought a purple batik sarong from her. We then proceed to tanalot to see the spectacular sunset.. our driver zoomed and zoomed , over-taking all the bikes and cars.. i almost had heart attack...that place is fantastic and super crowded. we had dinner at melasti hotel cafe.. not nice!!!! ;p

* 4th day, went waterbom park.. rotted there til evening... then we went for some shopping for last minutes snacks to buy back for colleagues. As i am quite close to them, i do not wan to go back empty handed.. too bad my luaggage can only squeeze in a box of coconut biscuits and some kerepok.. haiz.. we had dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimps... a place that is very Forrest Gump.. hehe, if u watched Forrest Gump, u will get it.. its is expensive by Bali standard.. but its worth it.. i simply love the decor and the cute shrimp logos!!!

* 5th day, finally a chance to jump into the famous Kuta beach..the waves are great..i jumped and jumped.. try not to imagine that, ok? we have to leave at 12.30... so sad.. before we had our last meal back at bebek cafe... where they serve that wonderful soto ayam.... dreamy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
